The 2011 Henderson Home Show is quickly approaching, so mark your calendars for Saturday, February 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year the Home Show will be held in the Heartland High School North Gymnasium.
When you attend the Henderson Home Show, you can expect to talk to many vendors from the Henderson area about the products and services they offer, eat the many homemade foods available throughout the day, participate in some interactive games with your children through the Edgerton Explorit Center and watch performances by IGNITE Dance and Cheer.
We often think that because we live in a small community, we know everything about the local businesses, but this is not true. While you may know that a certain business exists in Henderson, there may be services they provide that you may not know about.
By getting to know more about these businesses, you will not only gain the opportunity to work with local businesses in the future, but you will also be putting money back into the community of Henderson, which will help generations to come.
Various types of food will also be available for purchase throughout the day. From 7:00-9:00 a.m. there will be an all you can eat pancake feed put on by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, in the cafeteria for a freewill donation. If pancakes aren’t what you are craving, the Hospital Auxiliary will also have baked goods for sale throughout the day and a variety of items for lunch in. Adam Block will also be selling pizza and other food items at the Home Show. If you have any questions concerning the Home Show or would like to have a booth, contact the Henderson Chamber at (402) 723-4228 or hchamber@mainstaycomm.net.
