The sun came up this morning just the same as yesterday, but the feel in Henderson has dramatically changed. Yesterday afternoon, an ATV/Truck collision occurred caused by a blind intersection due to the corn. As a result, the accident left a family and the community with a terrible loss.
Steve Siebert, 61, was on an ATV four-wheeler working out amongst his fields yesterday around 2pm when a collision occurred at a country intersection between Siebert’s ATV and a truck, driven by Cameron Quiring, also of Henderson.
After much effort by doctors, nurses and EMT’s and being life flighted to Lincoln to stabilize Siebert, the Lord was ready to take him home. Heaven received a good man yesterday.
Siebert was a husband, father, grandpa, son, uncle and brother. Â He was also much more, such as a friend to so many and a business man in the community. Outside of farming, he also served on the Mainstay Communications Board and Perennial Public Power Board of Directors. Siebert took pride in the community. He enjoyed golfing, walking with his wife, Marge and did so much more to make this community so great.
Love, Peace and Prayers are extended to the Steve Siebert family in this trying time.
Very nicely written!
I have no words except….our hearts go out to the entire Siebert family.
