This past Friday, August 26th, the Huskie Football and Volleyball teams suited up and participated in their annual Sports Drink Scrimmage at Heartland Community School. Â There was a definite buzz around the school as students, parents and the community gathered to watch the scrimmages. Â Following the scrimmages was the Heartland Booster Club meal in the cafeteria where upper-classmen from the fall sports teams spoke and encouraged fans to cheer them on this season.
The Huskie teams have a busy week as the Volleyball season begins Thursday at Wilber as they take on Wilber and Sandy Creek. Â The Football team will head down to Shickley Friday night for their first game of the year as they take on BDS.
