Heartland Junior Mia Hiebner chipping on to the green today at the Class C Girls State Golf Meet at Maloney Golf Club.
Mia Hiebner competed at the Class C Girls Golf Meet today at the Maloney Golf Club south of North Platte, scoring an 84 (45-39). Due to frost, play was delayed until about 10:30 a.m. Mia was paired with Kara Suchsland from Minden and Daleni Knust from West Holt, teeing off at 12:37 p.m.
Even with a bit of a rough start on the front nine, Hiebner was able to right the ship and improve on the back nine firing a 39. She suffered a few penalties on the front nine, with one out-of-bounds on hole #5 and one lost ball on hole #6.
PARINGS ON MONDAY
She ended the day on a positive note with a birdie on hole 18. The second day of State Golf will resume tomorrow morning, with Hiebner teeing off at 12:36 p.m.
