Junior Creighton Friesen (pictured right) broke the Heartland 18-hole school record on Tuesday, placing second overall, and Andrew Franz (pictured left) placed 10th.
It was a record-breaking day for Heartland Junior Creighton Friesen, who scored a 70 (35-35) at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Sutton on Tuesday, April 30th. “Creighton tied the 9-hole school record and broke the 18-hole record today,” said Coach Chad Buzek. Friesen tied his own 9-hole school record, and he broke Hayes Oswald’s 18-hole record.
Friesen placed second individually with his score behind the sizzling first-place score of 66 by Hayden Dzingle from Doniphan-Trumball. Senior Andrew Franz had a good day, scoring a 79 (42-37), giving him 10th place individually.
