The Heartland boys’ golf team had another good day on the links this Tuesday, April 9th, in Geneva at the Hidden Hills Country Club. The team came in second with a combined team score of 365, just behind the number one team, Sandy Creek, with 358. Creighton Friesen posted an 81 (40-41), giving him second place just one stroke behind the first-place finisher from Thayer-Central Jedric Dankenbring, who scored an 80. Creighton improved his score by four strokes from last year at Hidden Hills when he posted an 85.
Andrew Franz posted an 87 (41-46), which put him in 7th place overall. Zach Miller (98), Austin Schmidt (99), and Jack McCormick (104) helped the team win second place.
