Henderson Health Care Foundation’s GROWTH Gala Raises $143K For HHC Hospital/Surgery Expansion & Renovation Project

On the evening of March 2nd, 350 attendees gathered at the Holthus Convention Center in York for the Henderson Health Care Foundation’s annual fundraiser, GROWTH Gala. With growth in mind, decorations and centerpieces reflected ‘industrial glam,’ giving a nod to the recent construction at HHC. Lynn Hall served as Master of Ceremonies. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to win $1000 cash with an entertaining coin flip game, as well as a chance to pull a cork corresponding with a bottle of wine. This year’s silent auction featured over 125 items thanks to many generous donors across the region.
A gourmet dinner was served by Kerry’s Restaurant & Catering, followed by an impressive assortment of desserts donated by local baking enthusiasts. Guests appreciated hearing testimonials related to patient/family experience as well as insight regarding this year’s Fund an Item, the surgical booms, and the lighting system in the new operating rooms.
The night of fun and fellowship began with an entertaining live auction featuring several one-of-a-kind experiences, with Ross Ronne leading the bids as the auctioneer. Fun Pianos took the stage and captured the attention of the audience with a very lively and talented performance, engaging the audience with laughter and interaction on stage.
In total, $143,000 was raised to benefit Henderson Health Care’s Surgery/Hospital Expansion & Renovation project.

The funds raised truly do GROW our ability to continue patient-centered care close to home. The generosity of this region leaves a lasting impact for future generations. The Henderson Health Care Foundation will hold its next GROWTH Gala on March 1, 2025, at the Holthus Convention Center in York, Nebraska.
