As you are enjoying Community Days this weekend, share your photos and posts by using the #hendersonne hashtag.
A hashtag is the pound/number sign (#) followed by a word or phrase. The purpose is to compile messages or pictures that pertain to that certain group or subject. To insert the hashtag, simply type #hendersonne into any part of your message or your picture on social media networks that incorporate hashtags such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
After the hashtag is published with your message or photo, you can click on it to see related #hendersonne messages on that particular social media. This allows you to see what other people are saying about Henderson and Community Days. Another great reason to use the hashtag is to see photos from different events that you may have missed.
When the Community Days weekend is over, we will compile all the photos and maybe even some great comments into a post. This will create an overview of the weekend for those who attended and also those who didn’t get the chance to come. (Please note that we are only able to grab photos from Twitter and Instagram profiles that have not been made private.)
