The Heartland Huskies went to Southern Hills in Hastings on Tuesday, where Mia Hiebner once again came home with a first-place medal.

Huskies Girls Golf Team Competed at Pawnee Hills Invite

The Heartland Girls Golf team traveled to Fullerton on Tuesday, September 19, to compete in the Pawnee Hills Invite. Nine schools were at the meet, and Mia Hiebner placed 3rd overall, scoring an 85 (42-43). Tara Buzek carded a 116 (56-60), placing 28th at the invite.

The Heartland Girls' Golf Team had a busy week traveling to back-to-back meets on Monday to Fairbury and Tuesday to Friend this week. Mia Hiebner was up to the task. She carded an 82 (41-41), winning first place at the Fairbury Country Club on Monday and an 83 (38-45) at Friend on Tuesday.

Heartland Girls Golf Place First

t was an excellent start for the Heartland Girls' golf team at their first event on Thursday, August 17, at Valley View Golf Course outside of Central City. Team members Mia Hiebner and Tara Buzek fired a low record setting score of 63 placing first in the Division 1 competition.
