Grand Opening: WWI Voices of Conscience Traveling Exhibit

The Voices of Conscience: Peace Witness in the Great War traveling exhibit has finally arrived at the Henderson Mennonite Heritage Museum and Park.  Its grand opening will take place this Sunday afternoon, July 21st beginning at 3:00 p.m.  This event will begin in the agriculture building with a time for viewing the exhibit.  At 3:30 a short program will follow in the air-conditioned country church.  Afterwards, coffee and cookies will be served in the agriculture building with more time to view the exhibit.  

Voices of Conscience premiered at the World War I Museum in Kansas City, Kansas in the summer of 2017 and has been hosted throughout the United States in museums, churches, colleges and universities.  At the conclusion of its display at the Heritage Park, it will be on its way to Winnipeg, Canada.  Admission is free for this event but donations will be accepted.
