Officials with Cornhusker United Way announce the beginning of the 2018 campaign starting September 1st. The campaign will continue through October 31st.

Cornhusker United Way serves Saline, Butler, Polk, Fillmore, Jefferson, Thayer, Seward, Saunders, and rural York Counties.

Donations support a wide variety of causes and organizations that work tirelessly to improve the lives of people throughout our communities. Enriching the lives of children and the elderly, eliminating poverty, and breaking the cycle of violence are just a few of the things that United Way organizations do daily. With your support, the possibilities are limitless!

Organizations that secured funding from Cornhusker United Way from the 2017 campaign include: Blue Valley Community Action, Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties, Saline County Area Transit, Released and Restored, Hope Crisis Center, Friends of Blue Valley, Pioneer Foster Grandparents, Saline County Aging Services, Fillmore County Rural Transit, Kids Connection Childcare, New Beginnings, CASA, Boy Scouts, and the Family and Youth Involvement Center.

Organizations may apply each June for membership and assistance. Awards are determined based upon campaign success once all contributions and pledges are gathered.

Individuals and companies that wish to contribute to Cornhusker United Way to help sustain area services may send checks to CUW, P.O. Box 75, Crete, Nebraska 68333 or go on-line to cornhuskerunitedway.org.
