Celebrate the Spirit of Christmas this week on Thursday, December 1, from 5:00-7:30 p.m. on Main Street and around Henderson as various businesses roll out the red carpet for holiday shopping, open houses and kid’s games.
The Henderson Fire Station will be a one stop shop for kids as Henderson Fire & Rescue hosts kids bingo for kids in kindergarten and older. Â For kids 2 years old through PreK, the Heartland Preschool Parent Advisory Committee (P-A-C) will hold a Book Walk and all participants will receive a Christmas book sponsored by Henderson Irrigation. Henderson Health Care will be sponsoring Santa at the Fire Barn as well from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and he will have a special little gift for all the children that visit him sponsored by Cornerstone Bank.
During the Spirit of Christmas, there will be local retailers selling products that will be perfect for your holiday gift giving and businesses hosting open housing to recognize your support throughout the year. Businesses that will be open include:
