Last week was a busy one for the Huskies who faced three different basketball teams throughout the week. On Tuesday the 5th, Heartland hosted Centennial. The girls grabbed a big win over the Broncos and the boys also won. Riverside came to play in Henderson on Thursday. With a finish 27 points ahead of the Chargers, the Lady Huskies had another great night. The boys, however, facing tough competition fell to Riverside (9-1 record). For their Saturday games, the teams ventured to Cross County. In step with their great week, the girls ended victorious over the Cougars. The boys had another tough night and lost to Cross County (11-1 record).

After their full week of basketball, the girls now hold a 9-3 record and the boys are 7-4. On Tuesday Heartland will host Superior at home.
