Interesting Nebraska Weather

It continues to be an interesting year weather wise.  I checked the rain gauge the last couple of days and we’ve received 1.46” of rain the past two days!  Our typical December precipitation averages .82” and it’s typically not rainfall.  For the year we’ve received just over 35” or about the same as last year.  That’s about 8” more than our normal of 27.07”.

One thing I know for sure!  The 1.46” of rain would have been several inches of snow.  The good thing is most this moisture soaked into the soil.

Nebraska Soybean Day & Machinery Expo

Just a final reminder, the annual Nebraska Soybean Day and Machinery Expo will be held Dec. 17 at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:15 p.m., in the pavilion at the Saunders County Fairgrounds in Wahoo.

The expo opens with coffee, doughnuts and the opportunity to view equipment and exhibitor booths. Speakers start at 9 a.m.
