Hearts4Him will be performing during the Henderson MB Church Sunday morning worship service on Sunday, September 14, at 10:30 a.m.
Hearts4Him, a men’s ensemble from the central Kansas area, began in August 2001. A passion and love for Christ, a love of music, and a HEART FOR HIM were the driving forces that led to the formation of the group.
The original group made their singing début at the Koerner Heights Church in Newton, Kansas. With the ebb and flow of life the group has changed members, but all hold this group close to their hearts. The diversity of the individuals in the ensemble makes it possible to relate to a wide spectrum of people. The richness of their combined voices delights audiences and stirs the soul.
What binds them together is the message of their songs. Singing for God and His grace and mercy is what makes this group of men lift their hearts in song. Their repertoire of sacred music is designed to touch the hearts of men and women in such a way that it will be a source of encouragement and inspiration and ultimately result in a transformed life. Hearts4Him desires to use their talents to bring honor and praise to God
In addition to leading an entire Sunday morning worship service or presenting a Sunday evening service, H4H has sung at festivals, banquets, celebrations, fund-raising events, and other special community functions. Their music ministry has taken them to numerous places in Kansas as well as surrounding states.
Their most recent recording, I THEN SHALL LIVE, was released in February, 2013; it has been received with much excitement. Their CD projects make it possible for the Message to be spread to many places.
Vocalists in the group are Jim Bartel, Brox Busenitz, Lawrence Kliewer, Duane Loewen, Rod Loucks, David Oller, Jim Yoder, and Bernie Zuercher; accompanist is JoAnn Nickel. The sound technician is Keith Neufeld.
