Here is a recipe for Homemade Drop Biscuits that could be used as a side to a dish or in a recipe with a cream sauce over them. They are simple to make, but the result is very delicious!
Homemade Drop Biscuits
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup of cold butter
- 1 and 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 cup of milk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut up butter into small pieces and combine (by hand) the flour, butter, salt, and baking powder until small clumps form. Add the milk and stir mix just until it is well moistened.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
