The Heartland Board of Education has decided to use the eMeetings online program offered through the Nebraska Association of School Boards. The new eMeetings program allows the board to conduct paperless board meetings. Since this program is online, the public will be able to see agendas for upcoming meetings and review past meetings and minutes.

Heartland Superintendent Brad Best said that as with any new technology system, there is always a learning curve, but so far the program has worked out well.  He commented that it was easy for him to put together meeting agendas through it, and it is a great advantage having the information available to access quickly.
