This past Sunday afternoon was a beautiful day to remember “30 Years of Playing a Round” at the Galaway Creek Golf Course. The facility was open for touring at 1 PM and $5 rounds of golf at 2 PM. Refreshments were served inside the pro shop where visitors could browse through an array of scrapbooks and a short history of the course compiled by Pro Shop Manager Ardys Dunsmoor. Early pictures of the construction of the course were on display along with the official Certificate of Incorporation for the Henderson Golf Association signed by Secretary of State Allen Beerman dated July 15, 1981. Congratulations to Galaway Creek for their 30 years of providing a great amenity to the community of Henderson!
