The Huskies kept the pressure on defense going from their home opener last Friday night, but it was their offense that took a little longer to get on track tonight against the Harvard Cardinals. They Huskies made it happen in the third quarter, though, as they defeated the Cardinals, 40-22.

Replay the LIVE Blog from Tuesday night.

Juniors, Mikaelyn Dick and Sara Brune had big nights offensively with 22 and 14 points.  The team as a whole seems to be cranking up the heat defensively as they start to utilize their press and get some big steals to cause havoc for their opponents.  As the year progresses and shots begin to fall, the Huskies will be a force to reckon with.

The Huskies will be back on the court this weekend as they take on Sandy Creek Friday at home.  They will then head to Hampton Saturday night to take on the Hawks.

Remember, Friday night’s game is at home, so if you can not attend, get on HeartlandBeat.com and watch the game via LIVE Stream by clicking on the Huskie Sports Network.  Saturday night’s game will also be blogged live on HSN at HeartlandBeat.com!
